100th Day of Kindergarten

Today is Rebecca's 100th Day of Kindergarten.

Technically it is supposed to be her 101st day but because of a snow/ice day Monday, it is the 100th day.

For her 100th day, her class is celebrating by bringing in 100 day projects and by dressing up like a 100 year old.

Rebecca took her 100 sticker poster in yesterday....

And today she went to school dressed as a 100 year old woman might dress:

She wore a hot pink velour track suit with a nicer white shirt underneath. Red, white and blue pearls, a gold brooch on her shirt, and I added baby powder to her hair to make it grey and she wore it pulled back in a bun!

I think this was a cute idea! And it will make for a funny memory!

Did your child celebrate 100 days of school?

  1. What a fun idea! I don't think anybody mentioned the 100th day in my Kid's Kindergarten class. She will definitely remember this experience :)

  2. What a fun thing! I can honestly say that I do not remember celebrating my 100th day of kindergarten, but my oldest starts in the fall, so I am keeping my eyes open for that!

PS Her 100 year old lady is awesome.
