Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was good, but not the best at productivity. I went to a tea party on Saturday hosted by Rebecca's American Heritage Girl troop. That was fun. On Sunday, I took a rather long nap and then went on a 3.1 mile walk with Bill and the kiddos and then to dinner. Today, I have a HUGE to do list of things that need to get done in order to feel like I am caught up. Not sure how much I am going to get done as I have to take Jacob to the doctor in a bit.
On another note, I had a fellow blogger email me to see if everything was okay because I wasn't posting daily. I am just a little overwhelmed with everything that has to be done. I am behind in everything and am hoping that with the new week I can get some stuff done and get back to daily blogging!
For today, I will be joining in with the lovely Sandra over at "Diary of a Stay at Home Mom" in her Happy Homemaker Monday meme. So let's get started:

DEVOTIONAL OR QUOTE:::
I enjoyed your comments on todays post. You have made me remember several things.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid The Wizard of Oz only came on tv one night a year, so my family made a point of watching it every single time. Mom did not cook that night so dad made Campbells tomato soup, popped popcorn and made fudge. When the movie began we ate on tv trays in the den. I love it every year, except for the flying monkey scene and they terrified me.
As for the spotless quiet home: I do the quiet fine but I am still searching for spotless!
We used to watch it every year when it was on tv as well. We never did a party or anything, but we looked forward to watching it. Now we have it on DVD so the kids get to watch it whenever.
DeleteMy youngest daughter read Wonder in sixth grade and loved it so much she decided to read it aloud to me that year! Great but very heart wrenching book! =)
ReplyDeleteI just started it, and am enjoying it so far!
