Books that I read for fun in December

Last year, I spent the last half of the year documenting the books that I read for fun.  I have decided that I need to continue that as reading is important part of how I relax. Books that I read for fun are books that I have not been asked to review and that I have chosen to read, well because I like to read.

Here are the books that I read in December for fun. I read a lot of Christmas themed books...Tis the season! :) Out of the books that I read this month, I liked Starry Night the best!

WOW, I read a lot in 2015! Reading is one of my hobbies, so it really shouldn't surprise me. In 2015 my grand total for books read for fun (not including books read for review, etc.) is.... 49!!!!
That is a lot! I think for 2016 I may make my goal to be 52 books for the number of weeks, but I am not 100% sure yet. Do you make reading for fun goals??

Here are the books I read for fun in:

November 2015
October 2015
September 2015
August 2015 (didn't read any for fun!)
July 2015
June 2015
May 2015
April 2015
March 2015
February 2015
January 2015
Books from 2014

Have you read any good books lately?

  1. Yes, I love to read and read 127 last year. My secret was getting rid of cable. I just stream occasionally. I like contemporary fiction- especially books with quirky people. I don't care for romances or mysteries (I peek). I'm trying to come up with some good resolutions this year besides losing weight and eating healthy foods LOL!!!!

    1. Wow 127! That is impressive. I try to carve out time to read but it seems the kids always need something or my schedule is just hectic. I am still trying to come up with resolutions as well! Here's to a great 2016!

  3. Great totals, Rachel! I am glad that you allow yourself reading time while parenting 3 small children. I know it is hard to carve out the "you" time, but it is important!
