Benjamin is 1 month old today

One month ago, we welcomed a 9 lb 15 oz bundle of joy into our home and into our lives, otherwise known as Benjamin Brian!

Less than 24 hours old

Today Benjamin is 1 month old! Wow time flies when you are having fun (or rather when you are a new sleep deprived mom who absolutely adores her baby and her other children and relishes each day that she gets to spend with them and be their mommy!)

He has grown so much in the last month. In his first month of life he has:

• gone from drinking about 1/2 ounce of formula at birth to drinking between 3-4 ounces every 2-3 hours now
• grown from using size 1 diapers to now being in size 2 diapers
• already outgrown some of his 0-3 months clothes
• gained weight (he is now up to over 11 lbs.)
• grown a little taller
• gone from sleeping ALL the time to being awake more
• gone from having NO schedule to being on somewhat of a loose schedule
• lost his umbilical cord and had his first bath

In his first month, he has also captured all of our hearts in many ways and I love him more every single day. I feel blessed to be his mom and that God has graced our family with him. I truly feel like all the pieces are now in our family!
