Weigh In Wedneday #7 of 2017

So one of my 2017 goals is to lose 40 pounds by the end of the year. This is a necessity for me, as in the last few months I have gained 15 pounds. That is not good. I want to be healthier and feel better about myself. 

In order to keep me accountable, I am hoping to come back each Wednesday to share my weigh in and my successes and failures from the previous week. So let's hop to it and see how I did this past week, shall we?


SO HOW DID THIS WEEK GO??? 
My official starting weight (on 1/1/2017) was: 242.0 pounds!
My weight last week was: 236.0 pounds.
My weight this week is: 235.2 pounds. 
So a loss of 0.8 pounds!  :-)
Total loss from 1/1/17: 6.8 pounds 

I felt that I had an okay week eating wise. I definitely was getting my veggies in. However, I also did a bit more snacking and eating out than I would like. (And I did end up making chocolate lasagna which totally blew the diet, but it was so good!) Still a loss is a loss and I am happy with that. And I have one pair of jeans that are getting really loose!

On the exercise front, between work and kids being sick, trying to catch up on housework, dealing with a mouse in the house, and crazy busy schedules last week stank. I didn't get anything in. That is the way of the world sometimes I guess. I just need to prioritize it better I guess.

  • Thursday: Nothing
  • Friday: Nothing
  • Saturday: Nothing
  • Sunday: Nothing
  • Monday: Nothing  
  • Tuesday: Nothing
So it wasn't a stellar week, but that is life. It is definitely a process and hopefully I can get in a groove sooner rather than later.

  2. Is there any way you can designate 1 hour per day to exercise - the same hour so it can become a routine? On another note have you caught that pesky mouse yet?
