Happy Homemaker Monday

It is Monday again, which means that it’s "Happy Homemaker Monday," a project which is hosted by Sandra over at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom. Each week, she hosts "Happy Homemaker Monday" as a way to highlight what is going on in her world. This week I have decided to join in....It has been quite a while since I did one of these...two months! Well no time like the present to join back in right? So here is a little glimpse into my world on this Monday!

The Weather:::
Right now it is around 51 degrees. Nice and cool! It was hot over the weekend and then we had over 2 inches of rain yesterday and last night, as the front came through, so I am loving the cool, fall weather today!
Right now I am::: Typing this post up, while an apple pie is baking in the oven.

Thinking:::that I haven't even made a dent in my to do list today.

On my reading pile:::The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks

On my TV:::Tonight it will be football

On the menu for this week:::Tonight it is Roast, potatoes, carrots and onions in the crock pot with crescent rolls and apple pie for dessert.
The rest of the week we will be eating what is in the freezer as I have taken stock and defrosted our big freezer last night.

On my to do list:::Laundry, Laundry, and more laundry
Write out at least 2 book reviews and schedule to post
Go through the winter clothes of the kids and see what they need if anything.
Check winter coats, boots, etc. to see what is needed.
Make something with the pumpkin puree I found in the freezer.

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::I have a homemade apple pie in the oven.

Looking around the house:::There are toys everywhere...as all 3 kids have been home this morning (Rebecca is off school for the next 2 days). There is laundry to be folded on the dining table .Lunch dishes need to be put away. The kitchen needs cleaned up from my apple pie making.

From the camera:::

On my prayer list:::All people who are dealing with cancer in their lives.

Bible verse, Devotional:::

When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, "Do you want to get well?" (John 5:6)

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

  1. I always have laundry to do, but not today, actually caught up this weekend :)

    Your dinner sounds so good and so does the apple pie.
