I remember that day like it was yesterday. It seems like it was yesterday. I remember the first words my doctor said to me after she delivered Ben was "Rachel, he is huge!" He was 2 weeks early and weighed in at 9lbs 15oz. I remember those crazy days in the hospital and having to stay an extra day because Benjamin became jaundiced and had to be under the lights. Even then he was my little trouble maker.
Today as we mark his third birthday Benjamin is a dynamic little boy. I say little kind of tongue in cheek as he is almost as tall as his brother and he weighs more than him. Twice this past week, cashiers and people in line at the store thought Benjamin was close to 5 or 6 years old. He is quick to laugh and his smile will melt your heart. He has his issues with communication and he has been diagnosed on the autism spectrum but to those whom he allows in his world he loves with his whole heart. He is my cuddle monster and the finishing touch to our family.
Today as he turns 3, I would like to take the time to record some of Benjamin's favorites. He loves blueberries, strawberries and most fruits. His favorite thing to ask for at the grocery store is "apples." He loves the shows "Paw Patrol" and "Dora." His favorite toys are Thomas the train toys, cars and blocks. He loves to color. He also LOVES calculators and timers.
He is an incredible 3 year old and we LOVE him to pieces!
