Water, Earth, Animals and Fire

Happy Sunday! We are up for another hot and humid day today including some much needed rain/storms later. For now, Sundays are meant to be a day of rest and relaxation and one of the ways that I rest is to spend time in nature. I try to spend a least a little bit of time in nature each week and this past week was no exception. So let's see the little slices of nature that I saw this week:

July 12, 2020: Mohican State Park, Ohio

July 13, 2020: Brown Family Environmental Center, Gambier, Ohio

July 15, 2020: Brown Family Environmental Center, Gambier, Ohio

July 16, 2020: Heart of Ohio Trail, Centerburg, Ohio

July 17-18, 2020: Utica, Ohio

Have a great Sunday everyone!

  1. The green of nature is good for our mental state. Some days, when we go out to the store or to drop off a letter at po, we sit in the car in a very green area and soak up the green. Neither one of us can get out and walk, so this is a good compromise.

  2. Our steam broke and today is supposed to be 80 an low humidity-so perfect! I'm actually going to bake and do some other prep for the week as no doubt the heat will come back. Later I plan on taking the pup for a long scenic walk. Nature is so good for our mental health.
