Dreaming of the Beach

Happy Tuesday everyone! How are you doing? What's the weather like where you are? Here it is dreary and everything is covered in SNOW! We got dumped on Sunday through last night. In our area we ended up with 9-10 inches of snow (when they were originally calling for 3-4 inches). It is cold, dreary, snowy and I just want to go somewhere warm and sunny...somewhere like the beach! Unfortunately that is not in the cards right now, but one can dream right? 

I found the PERFECT solution though to help me think of the beach! Bill, however is not a fan of "sayings" and he wanted something that reminded him of the beach, which is our happy place. So I searched through the 300+ beach scenes and found this one which is beautiful but still missing something for me...

So I kept searching and found the perfect canvas print. (I chose a canvas print as we are renters and I wanted to have art that I could take with us if/when we move.) This particular print is the perfect compromise for Bill and I, as it is a beach scene with a word! 

The process of ordering is super simple. I measured the area that I wanted to put it, input our measurements in the website (as you can choose many different sizes) and placed our order. It was a super easy process to order. Shipping is in 1-4 days and I got an email that my order was shipped less than 48 hours after I ordered it. I got updates on it's shipping through DHL. I ordered it on a Monday and it was in Cincinnati, OH on that Thursday evening. It got stuck in the DHL hub in Cincinnati through the weekend due to lack of staffing and mail backup due to COVID. It was delivered that Monday to us. Considering it was coming from Sweden to Ohio, I think that was pretty fast even with the slowdown. 

The canvas comes disassembled so you do have to assemble it yourself, but there are very clear instructions included and a video online. It was super easy to put together and the quality is amazing! 

We hung our new canvas print in the living room right across from our sofa, so that we can dream of the beach every time we see it. I absolutely LOVE it! It is so nice to sit and look at it when it is cold and snowy outside!
