Anyway, here is what I bought this week....(Yay I remembered to take pictures!)....
Aldi trip #1-- Spent $21.57 |
Dollar Tree---Spent $6.00 |
Kroger trip--Spent $42.54 |
Aldi trip #2--Spent $13.32 |
So that is a grand total of : (DRUM ROLL PLEASE).......$83.43... Over budget by $8.48....
I guess I can count my blessings that it was less than $100 this week. Our freezers are pretty full and the food above made our cabinets pretty full so I think we should be able to reach $60 or less next week....Fingers crossed!

I love your first paragraph! I read it out loud to my husband because it sounds just like what I have been saying. Each week I find that I am doing more and more of our shopping at Aldi and filling in around the edges with Sam's Club and only going to Kroger for the (fewer and fewer) great deals. After seeing the Hunt's ketchup and Fiber One Bars from your Dollar Tree trip, I now need to pay much more attention to their food section - thanks for helping me to save more money each week with this idea!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Amanda! Glad to see that I made sense to you. And glad that I am not the only one who is seeing this trend. Have a good day!
