MY THOUGHTS::

LeFevre really hits a home run with Live Your Life: 14 Days to the Best You. This is not your typical self help book in that the author doesn't tell you that you have to do everything in this book and in this order. Rather she offers 14 topics that you can go over, including Silencing the voices, breathing, giving yourself compassion, just starting somewhere, etc. I love how she starts the beginning saying that this book is separated into 14 days/ lessons and while she encourages you to read through all 14, she knows that some may not be applicable right now to your life and that is okay. She even suggests at the end of the book that if you would like, pick one of the lessons to really delve into and when you feel that that area is good for your life, choose another lesson, etc.

As I was reading this book, I will admit that there were several chapters that really struck a cord with where I am in my own life. The chapter for Day 6 is titled "Let It Go." In this chapter, LeFevre talks about letting go of things that are taking up space and that are not you. I felt strongly that this chapter was talking to me as I have been having a great calling to get rid of stuff in my house and I am much happier with less clutter. I love how LeFevre ends each chapter with thinking items and actions items that are small things that you can do to put that chapter into action.

In my opinion, if you feel like you are stuck in life or there are some areas that just aren't what you want them to be, I highly suggest you check out Live Your Life: 14 Days to the Best You by Ann LeFevre.
